Licensing is the perfect solution if you're looking for artwork to put on your products but don't have the time or expertise to create it yourself. This allows you to focus on important tasks of your business while still producing unique products that your costumers will love! ​

Art licensing is a legal agreement where the artist grants permission for you to use their artwork on various products such as apparel, home decor or stationery items. I offer non-exclusive or exclusive licenses for my designs. As a licensee, you pay a fee to use the artwork according to the terms we agree upon.

A non-exclusive license allows the same design to be licensed to multiple companies at the same time. Which means while you have the rights to use the design for your products, others can also access and license the same design to be use on their products within the same product category.

With a non-exclusive license you have access to a wider range of designs since they're not tied up exclusively with your business, allowing for more options to choose from. Non-exclusive licenses are also typically more affordable since the artist can license the same design to multiple companies.

An exclusive license allows you to license the design in a specific category, meaning no one else can use that specific design during the license period. For instance, if you exclusively licensed a design for bedding I cannot license it to another bedding company but I can still license the design to other categories like women apparel or wallpaper. I retain the right to use the design during the licensing period for any purpose not listed in the agreement.

This arrangement provides you with exclusivity, ensuring that your products stand out in the market and cannot be replicated by competitors. However, exclusive licenses typically come at a higher cost compared to non-exclusive licenses since you are making it unavailable to others during the licensing period. At the end of the licensing term you will have the opportunity to renew the license. If not renewed the design category rights are returned and can be licensed by another company.

While licensing grants certain usage rights to the licensee, such as the right to reproduce the artwork on products, the underlying copyright ownership  remains with the artist Ammie Creative. Whether you license my artwork exclusive or non-exclusive, I retain all copyright and ownership rights of the artwork.

When setting the price for your project, I  take into account different factors including usage, product type, and licensing type. All the details are listed on my Licensing Enquiry Form. Simply fill it out and I will then provide you with a customized contract/quote for your project. Feel free to submit an enquiry even if some details are uncertain.

When the license agreement is signed and agreed upon you will receive an email with a high resolution layered photoshop file. Kindly notify me in advance if other formats are needed.
